Waterloo Region tech companies shine in Deloitte rankings

Several tech companies from Waterloo Region, including members of Communitech, have achieved national recognition on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 list, which highlights Canada’s fastest-growing and most innovative tech companies.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 program celebrates leading companies in Canada’s tech sector based on revenue growth, industry impact and innovation. The program recognizes these companies not just for their rapid growth, but for their passion, integrity and forward-thinking approaches to challenges that matter to Canadians.

Communitech members among the Fast 50:

• RideCo On-Demand Transit- Kitchener company ranked #16 on the Technology Fast 50 list.
• Showpass- Calgary company ranked #20 on the Technology Fast 50 list.
• DOZR- Kitchener company ranked #24 on the Technology Fast 50 list.
• ApplyBoard- Kitchener company ranked #4 in the Enterprise – Industry Leaders ranking.

A number of other Canadian tech companies with ties to Communitech were also among this year’s winners.
