PayPal Battle Hack is a 24-hour competition where developers are challenged to build a mobile application to solve a social problem of their choice, using the PayPal API, Braintree or Venmo SDKs. Want to improve your city, your government, or the world? Battle Hack Toronto helps you do good while feeling good. Enjoy great local food and drinks, plus awesome giveaways and special events.
The winner of Battle Hack Toronto will be flown to PayPal’s headquarters in San Jose, California, to compete for the grand team prize of $100,000 USD and the coveted “battle axe” trophy. You’ll also have a chance to win outstanding runner up prizes and door prizes, like a PS4, Polaroid Cameras, Leap Motion Controllers and Nanodots GYROs.
And remember, you get to retain ownership of any intellectual property you create at the event.
