"Are you a startup developing on a Google platform? We want you to be in the epicentre of Waterloo Region’s startup scene.
Applications are now open to receive free tenancy for six months in the Google space at the Communitech Hub. In addition to world-class facilities, you'll receive the following perks:

    • Ignition Day: includes a tour of Google, lunch with key individuals and a demo to the Google team

    • Advice throughout the tenancy from select experts at Google

    • Closing presentation and potential business opportunities with Google

    • Guaranteed spot in Communitech Startup Services Group’s new Fundamentals Program

    • Opportunity to apply for global Google pitch competitions



To qualify, your startup must be:

    • Building on a Google platform, including Android, Chrome, Cloud, Maps or YouTube; or

    • Porting your existing iOS or BlackBerry app version to a Google platform

    • Able to succinctly explain company; co-founders' backgrounds; product; and market fit to investors, Google product experts and others in the Waterloo Region technology community

    • May be at any stage of fundraising
