Day 1 started with Jeff Hoffman, who talked about being a great entrepreneur and making companies that people care about.
Daniel Debow talked about how he's stumbled through his successful career doing what interests him, regardless of what others said.
Debow was then joined on stage by Thalmic Labs CEO Stephen Lake to chat about the high stakes and rush of raising venture capital.
After lunch, a notoriously hard time to keynote, Saul Colt enthralled the audience about how to market a startup with little cash and a lot of moxy.
Finally Carol Leaman closed out Techtoberfest Day 1 with a frank talk about the pros and cons of acquisitions.
Day 2 started with a lot of coffee and an inspiring keynote from Rob Richman who talked about workplace culture, and why it's the most important part of your company you don't control by yourself.
Jevon MacDonald gave a keynote about everything he wished he knew before he started his companies. The crowd's favourite? "Don't f*ck it up."
Alexis Ohanian was the final keynote speaker of Techtoberfest. Well-loved by the attendees, Ohanian's main theme was that you don't need to be a tech genius to be an entrepreneur. Be passionate, be curious and ask for help.
Techtoberfest ended with Communitech HYPERDRIVE's Cohort 3 companies pitching at Demo Day. The 11 companies pitched to a standing-room-only crowd of conference attendees, past cohort alumni and interested investors.
