(Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, May 12, 2016) - Structur3D Printing is proud to announce its new partnership and reseller agreement with Ultimaker. The Discov3ry, Structur3D’s flagship product, is an add-on device that allows 3D printers to print with soft materials like silicone, biomaterials, electronic inks and food. Structur3D has been using a selection of Ultimaker printers for many of its exhibits, because it has found the overall quality and durability to be superb.

Structur3D is launching a new product line of fully integrated 3D printers, beginning with Ultimaker+Discov3ry systems. Orders for the Discov3ry Complete will commence today on Structur3D’s website (www.structur3d.io). This means their mutual customers will be able to purchase a fully integrated Ultimaker+Discov3ry system with a full standard warranty and technical support. The Ultimaker line will be the first official pre-integrated 3D printers with the Discov3ry on the market.

“We’ve been very impressed with the Ultimaker printers and we really wanted to be able to offer these as a complete solution to our customers along with the Discov3ry extruder. This is a really exciting opportunity for us,” says Charles Mire, CEO and Cofounder, Structur3D.

“Ultimaker recognizes the value of new materials for 3D printing and the Discov3ry extruder enables many more materials, and experimentation with custom materials. We see a lot of potential in partnering with Structur3D, and we are very excited about this announcement,” adds Kirk Matsuo, Director of Business Development of Ultimaker North America.
