The 2014 Tech Leadership Conference will bring together world-class thought leaders with the best talent in the Waterloo Region tech sector for a day dedicated to re-thinking old assumptions, re-inventing businesses and re-connecting with important contacts.

The conference, on May 29, will feature an impressive lineup of speakers, breakout sessions and presentations. Author Geoffrey Moore  will discuss his latest work, Escape Velocity, about the challenges large enterprises face when they enter a new business line. Kirstine Stewart, managing director of Twitter Canada, will discuss a new style of leadership for the modern workplace. And Scott Bedbury, the creative genius behind the branding of Nike and Starbucks, will explain how to turn great products into iconic brands.

Kevin Newman of CTV News will also host the ‘big conversation’ with Geoffrey Moore, change management specialist Dr. Anita Sands and former Clerk of the Privy Council and current vice-chairman of BMO Financial Group, the Honourable Kevin Lynch. Breakout sessions will focus on key issues such as cyber-security, corporate strategy and culture, change leadership and the elusive quest to hold a ‘no-BS meeting’.
