Kitchener, Ontario (August 24, 2017): After more than 14 years with Coreworx Inc., founder, Chief Technology Officer, and former CEO, Ray Simonson has announced his retirement, effective Aug. 31, 2017. During his time as CEO, Simonson galvanized the company’s vision on delivering top quality software solutions that improve information management on capital engineering and construction projects and help to improve project execution.
During his tenure leading Coreworx, Simonson was influential in the design of the Coreworx platform and successfully saw the release of industry leading tools, including Coreworx Interface Management and Coreworx Contract Management. In addition to producing software for the industry, Ray was intimately involved with the implementation of Coreworx solutions for clients such as Fluor, Chevron, Saudi Aramco, Shell, and Emerson amongst others. During his time as CEO, Simonson lead the management buy-out from Acorn Energy and several capital raises for Coreworx in addition to leading the internal development team and mentoring many along the way.

During the spring of 2017, Mr. John Gillberry became CEO of Coreworx to prepare for Simonson’s upcoming transition. At this time, I am confident that Coreworx is stronger than ever, and with John Gillberry at the helm, they are certainly poised for great success in the future.”
