OCAS, a Guelph-based organization delivering shared technology and application services for Ontario’s public colleges, has been named one of Waterloo Area’s Top Employers for a fifth consecutive year. The annual competition, organized by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, recognizes employers in the Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, and Cambridge area who lead their industries in offering exceptional work environments.

“As proud members of our local community, it’s an incredible honour to be recognized as a Top Employer in the Waterloo area for the fifth year in a row,” said Karen Creditor, President and CEO of OCAS. “The hard work and dedication of our employees enables us to not only help hundreds of thousands of individuals applying to college each year, but also deliver exceptional service and support to our partners.”

Companies were evaluated based on the same eight standards as the national competition: physical workplace; work atmosphere and social activities; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.

“Here at OCAS, it’s about the opportunity to be part of a culture where everyone is focused on making a difference,” said David Hong, Vice-President, Customer & Employee Success at OCAS. “Our employees love what they do and it’s their passion and commitment, combined with their fun-loving nature, that help set OCAS apart as an exceptional place to work.”
