The City of Waterloo is open for business
(Waterloo, Ont. – Oct. 31, 2013) The City of Waterloo is thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of www.wearewaterloo.ca – its new economic development website. Boasting rich graphics and modern interactive tools, wearewaterloo.ca is a living, breathing portal that effectively projects the high level of business growth, activity and innovation that exists in Waterloo.
“This website showcases our city in a new light,” said Justin McFadden, executive director for the City of Waterloo economic development department. “It makes it easier for site selectors, external business prospects and local businesses to choose Waterloo for their next business venture.”

• A combination of written and video content highlighting community leaders, successful entrepreneurs and interesting projects in the city
• Local and global news feeds
• A list of available land and buildings
• An interactive map that highlights zoning, transportation, and culture and recreation, among other profiles
The new website, wearewaterloo.ca will be launched November 7, 2013.
