Fibernetics President to advise at the world’s leading entrepreneur training and start-up launch program
CAMBRIDGE, ONTARIO – (May 14th, 2015) John Stix, Fibernetics co-founder and president is proud to be selected as a mentor for The Founder Institute, the world's largest entrepreneur training and start-up launch program.
Helping aspiring entrepreneurs from across the globe build enduring technology companies, the Founder Institute carefully recruits approximately 25 Mentors per semester. These Mentors are selected based on their expertise on a topic in the curriculum, in John’s case, the importance of establishing a culture early in a start-up’s lifecycle.
“The amazing journey that an Entrepreneur embarks on can be incredibly rewarding and inspiring. The relationships, celebrations, failures, risks and memories, make all the sacrifices seem like a group badge of honour that you wear proudly on your sleeve,” said John.

“I try to stop, pause and soak in every moment and so should everyone else. I'm indeed proud to be a mentor for the Founder Institute.”

The Toronto-Waterloo corridor is one of the deepest pools of innovation and talent in the entire world. In less than one year Founder Institute has helped launch more than 20 new tech startups in this region and expects to launch at least 100 more in the coming months.

"John Stix is a passionate accomplished entrepreneur who has demonstrated a personal commitment to mentoring and working with entrepreneurs to help them achieve their vision” says Sunil Sharma, Co-Director of Founder Institute Toronto.

“We are privileged to have him on board as a mentor and we know that the new class will benefit greatly from his experience and vision”
