Aug. 24, 2011 – Cedric Jeannot, founder of Waterloo-based I Think Security, made a successful appearance on the Business News Network program The Pitch today. Jeannot’s company, profiled earlier this month by Communitech, makes a small USB device called the QI (pronounced: key), which allows users to quickly place a secure bubble of encryption around sensitive files, whether stored locally on computers or in the cloud. The fact that the QI and the encrypted files reside in physically separate locations makes it impossible for hackers to access them, making the device particularly attractive to clients in the legal, audit, finance and government sectors.
