Antica Productions is developing a program called “Dream Funded”, which will air in primetime on a major Canadian network.
The show will have a similar angle to ‘Dragons' Den’, but the contestants will pitch to the audience. Each episode will have seven contestants and $50K to be won – with each audience member having an allowance that they get to give to the business idea they like best. Also unlike in Dragons' Den there will be no need to give up equity or negotiate a deal.
The target companies are early stage, where winning $20 – 30K and some national exposure could make a big difference. Click here to apply.
