FAQ

We worked with our community of partners such as the Canadian Venture Capital Association, NRC-IRAP, TMX, TD, EY as well as members of Canada’s Tech Network and founders from coast-to-coast to verify data on as many Canadian tech organizations as we could. This data was then analyzed against four key criteria:

  • $20M-$39M in annual revenue with 60% or more growth rate,
  • $40M-$79M in annual revenue with 40% or more growth rate, OR
  • $80M-$99M in annual revenue with at least 20 per cent growth rate, OR
  • +$100M in annual revenue with at least 15 per cent growth rate

If you feel that there’s a company that we’ve missed including on Team True North that meets the criteria, let us know! Reach out to Ashwin Sanzgiri to verify that your company’s performance metrics match our key innovative criteria and we’ll get you added to our roster.

Updates to the roster of tech firms on Team True North will be made regularly and include companies that work with innovation hubs across Canada’s Tech Network, including MaRs, Platform Calgary and ventureLab. While we’ll be updating our database regularly, we will be releasing the next iteration of Team True North on October 13, 2022.

Tech companies that are a part of Team True North either:

      • are a Canadian-controlled private corporation, OR
